Every bold decision, every daring pivot, and every story worth telling begins with a WHY.

For Lisa Bradshaw, her WHY began when she went from being a stay-at-home mom who could fail at any venture because her husband paid the mortgage to a widowed, single mom who was now responsible for everything.

Lisa's WHY became the guiding force behind her every choice—in business and in life.

Her WHY?

"I had to figure out a way to feed my kid and feed my soul and be home by 3 o’clock every day when he got home from school."

Her keynote dives deep into how purpose isn’t just a buzzword—it’s the foundation of every impactful story, every powerful pitch, and every opportunity worth pursuing.

From her first side hustle (before side hustles were a thing) that started as an alphabet pillow business at her dining room table to the 'E' pillow featured on the set of 'FRIENDS', from TEDx stages to national tours sponsored by Toyota, every chapter of Lisa's entrepreneurial story carries a lesson worth sharing.

With humor, heart, and practical insights, Lisa shares the lessons and stories that not only built her dream but also kept it alive—through loss, reinvention, and sticking around in moments when walking away felt easier than showing up.

The path to success isn't always the one you planned—it's the one you're brave enough to explore.

When Lisa Bradshaw sat down to write her first book, she thought she had it all figured out. She'd be an author. Simple. Clear. Defined. But when Lisa became a widowed, single mom at age 32, she had to pivot—learning through trial and error how to spot opportunities and trust her instincts.

"Hardships are an opportunities for crossroads, not an impasse. And I have always been willing to lend my story, if it helps someone else better live their own."

Her energetic keynote challenges young entrepreneurs to question their assumptions about success and stay open to possibilities they haven't even imagined yet. Through her journey from aspiring author to accidental entrepreneur, from alphabet pillows to Oprah Radio appearances that led to hosting her own radio show, Lisa reveals how each pivot taught her something valuable about building a sustainable business.

With humor, candid insights, and contagious enthusiasm, Lisa shares how her journey transformed "I want to be an author" into "I want to make an impact"—a shift that ultimately led to founding The DON'T WAIT Project®, a non-profit organization, and partnering with Toyota for three national tours across 23 states, interviewing people about their DON'T WAIT stories for her TV show.
